Interesting story of Jane

Hi friends.

Now I am going to tell you an interesting story about a woman named Jane. So, listen carefully! One day, I was coming home tired from the office.

Standing outside her apartment, he puts his hand in her purse and starts looking for keys. She gets some problems, but then she hears the sound of keys, and then she finds the key.

Then she takes the keys out of the purse and tries to unlock the door with that key! One time, two times, and then the keys enter the lock on the third attempt. And the gates opened.

After entering the house, she turns on all the lights! She turns the switches on and off one by one, and then finally, the light gets turned on.

Then she goes towards her closet, rummaging through her things so that she can put on her coat.

And then she stumbles towards the answering machine, hitting the sofa. She starts pressing different buttons while trying to avoid pressing the wrong buttons and deleting the messages on the answering machine.

And this is how she listens to the messages. Now you will ask, What's interesting in this story? You know, what's interesting is that Jane was doing all these things without seeing them.

It's not that she was blind. The thing is, she was 50+ years old. And she was noticing that her brain power was decreasing.

She was not able to focus on anything. She started forgetting some things. That's why she was following a strategy called neurobiosis.

According to recent studies, neurotics are such sets of exercises that, by practicing them, we can increase the health of brain capability, agility, and health.

Author Lawrence C. Katz's example

And through this, he has seen normal people become geniuses. He has helped them develop their brains! And if you follow these exercises, it can help you increase your brain power.

Neurobic exercises

So, I am going to tell you about 11 exercises from his book that will help you take your brain power to the next level! The first exercise is the blindfolding exercise.

Blind Folding Exercise

Jane was practicing this exercise, where she used to close her eyes before entering her apartment! And then, instead of seeing the daily activities she was performing, she used to try to do all that without seeing.

Due to this, the normal pattern that was set in her brain had begun to break! Due to this, she was taking her brain into higher gear.

Due to this, her other senses, like touch, smell, hearing, and special memory, were using all that to make her brain exercise. You can do something similar.

But yes, I am not saying that you put a blindfold on your eyes and cross the road or start walking on a terrace with a blindfold; no, you don't have to put your life at risk!

But there are some safe exercises that you can do! Maybe in your room, where there is less risk of falling and hitting, you can try it.

You go to bed without seeing, sit near a computer without seeing, and try to type without seeing! Anything that breaks the old patterns that you have made in these years

Draw a map of your town from your memory.

Whenever you come home from somewhere, do a second exercise. Draw a map of your town from your memory and start imagining the whole path in your brain!

Next time, when you go there, try to imagine the path in your mind before opening Google Maps.

Try to remember all those landmarks, streets, and traffic lights; that helps you improve your memory!

In fact, you know some taxi drivers in London were made to do such exercises in which the taxi drivers were asked to remember the layout of the whole city in their brains without using maps.

It was seen that for those drivers who had remembered the whole map in their brains, there were permanent changes in their brain structures.

And their cognitive functions also improved. That's why you can also try this.

4-7-8 breathing method.

Famous physician and researcher Dr. Andrew Weil, who is a graduate of the Harvard Third Exercise 4-7-8 Breathing Method, has developed a method of boosting brain power by using ancient yoga techniques called Pranayama, which he calls the 4-7-8 breathing method.

Before doing this exercise, you have to sit in a calm place. And you have to keep your tongue like this. And while keeping your tongue like this, you have to breathe out of your mouth!

Then, after closing your mouth, you have to count to 4. Then, by taking a deep breath from the nose, you have to count to 7.

Then you have to breathe out of your mouth! And while doing that, you can count to 8. According to Andrew, this exercise makes your brain and body relaxed.

By which you are able to control your brain! Its control increases. And you are able to use your brain power in the right direction!

In this exercise, Dr. Andrew did an experiment as well. For which he divided people into two groups. Group A and Group B Andrew asked Group A to do this 4-7-8 exercise for 30 minutes.

And he asked Group B to take a rest! After which, both groups were given hard puzzles to solve. The people in Group A solved the puzzles faster and better than those in Group B.

And the interesting thing was that after doing this exercise, even after 24 hours, their brain activities were performing much better than those in Group B. That's why you can also try this.

Magical Fingers.

You would have seen many powerful people sitting in the Fourth Exercise Magical Fingers where they kept their hands something like this; these are called power poses.

It is believed that, according to some research, by doing this exercise, your brain activity and performance increase. I know, it sounds very weird.

But some research shows that it happens. In fact, it was discovered in research that there are more than 3000 mechano receptors in our fingers that work like a highway for our brain!

They transmit different signals to the brain through neurons. The connection between these mechanoreceptors and brain neurons increases the power of the brain!

There is an exercise related to this, which you can do! In this exercise, what you have to do is keep your hands in front of your chest! Something like Namaste Then take deep breaths three times.

And then leave the hands. Fingertips should stay touched. And then come to that Namaste position again! After that, take deep breaths, and then put your hands apart. Repeat the same thing ten times.

Reboot your brain.

You know, there is a pea-sized pituitary gland in your brain. Fifth Exercise Reboot your brain, which is located at the base of your brain!

It releases various hormones in your brain! Whenever you feel lazy, tired, or exhausted, all this happens because of the pituitary gland!

According to Dr. Alan, it can help you reboot your brain! It can make you feel energized. It's a very simple exercise. You have to take the thumb of your hand, and then you have to press it with both fingers.

You have to keep the thumb squeezed from the front and back sides. You can squeeze it 20 times.

As soon as you do this, you will notice your nose will start opening, and you will have ease in breathing because, by doing this, you will be hitting your pituitary gland, which helps in releasing various hormones in your body!

After doing it 20 times on the side of the thumb, you were doing it from the front and back sides; earlier, you had to hold it for 30–60 seconds. This exercise can also make you feel good.

Do math in your head.

Whenever we are asked to do some small calculations, the sixth exercise Do math in your head, and then what we do is use a calculator.

But it would be better to do small calculations like 35+68 instead of calculating it on the calculator.

Remember, our brain is like a tool; the more we use it, the more it will be free and will be able to work better. If we don't use our brain, then it won't work properly!

So if possible, instead of using a calculator, try to solve them in your brain first. There is an interesting exercise related to it.

Brains, you're on the way; whenever you see the number plate of a car, you know that it has four digits! Like 4623.

So what you have to do is add the first two digits and the last two digits. By doing this, you will solve math problems, and it can also improve brain functions.

Whenever a study is also done related to it, advances in experimental medicine and biology show that by solving math problems, the cognitive abilities of participants get a huge positive impact.

Gestures.

This is the combination of two exercises. First, what do you have to do? Seventh Exercise Gestures: Take the thumb and index finger and press them.

like you're holding a piece of paper. Then you do it with the other finger. With the middle finger. Then, with a ring finger, you have to do it like this: you have to press and hold it for 3 seconds! And you have to do it with all your fingers.

Then there is an exercise called hand swap! It will boost your focus and concentration! For this, what you have to do is make a fist with one hand, or something like this.

And then you keep the second hand flat. You have to touch it by keeping it flat. And then you have to swap both hands. That means making the fist with this hand and opening the second hand! You have to repeat this process 20 times.

When you try this, you can face problems; it can seem hard. It's not as easy as it seems! Continuously! So, try doing it.

Tell me in the comment section how many times you were able to do it. 3 times, 4 times, 5 times, or have you done it 20 times properly?

The Schulte Table

A table will come in front of you where random numbers are assigned to every cell! Ninth Exercise: Schulte Table What you have to do is focus on number 19.

Here, you see, the number in the center is 19. Keep your focus on that. And then, as soon as the timer starts at 30 seconds, three, two, one.

Then what you have to do is reach from No. 1 to No. 19. It means that first, your focus should be on 1, then on 2, then on 3, then on 4, and by doing this, you have to reach 19.

Okay? Shall we start? Play it for 30 seconds; it would be fun! Three! Two! One! Go! Comment down: What number did you reach? What is your best score?

Due to this exercise, the ability to process the information will increase!

Walnuts.

As we grow, the cognitive functions of our brain start getting weaker! Tenth Exercise: Walnuts Our memory decreases! Our attention span, concentration, and all these things decrease.

This exercise will slow down your aging process. In order to do this exercise, you will need 4 walnuts! Or if you have something of a similar size, you can use that also.

First of all, take a walnut, put it on your straight hand, and then rotate it with your left hand—something like this! Like, we make chapatis!

And while doing this, you have to apply pressure upwards as well. It can take some effort to do this! Do it for one minute. And then swap your hands.

Put the walnut on the left hand, and then rotate it with the right hand! And put some pressure on my left hand. After that, you have to have two walnuts in both hands.

And we have to move both walnuts in a clockwise direction! On the other hand, you have to move both walnuts in an anti-clockwise direction!

You have to do it for one minute. It may sound difficult but try it. It is one of the most popular exercises to release stress.

Your nervous tension gets calmed down! It will help you reduce your anxiety and feel relaxed.

Multicolored text.

You would have played this game multiple times. And this is powerful, too. Eleven Exercise: Multicolored Text You will see multiple words in different colors!

What you have to do as soon as the color comes on the words is say the color name, not what is written!

Got it? Like, if RED is written, but if that is written in green, then you have to say green, not red. Okay? Maybe it sounds easy for you but try it once.

One, two, and three go! Did you give all the answers correctly? If yes, then it's good. Because it's not as easy as it seems!

When you do this exercise, the connection between both hemispheres of your brain gets better! This exercise reduces the chances of having Alzheimer's disease. It increases concentration!
